Domaine de
Curé has a long history dating back to 1800, with
extensions made in 1825. Early records
show that it was once a horse-breeding estate before
becoming a winery sometime in the late 1800s. And even
though
wine is no longer produced at the domaine itself, the
neighboring farmers continue to grow and pick the grapes in
the surrounding vineyards that were once a part of the
estate to make the regional Cabardes wine.
Today, part of
the building, set in a one hectare estate rich with numerous
species of trees, has been entirely renovated into 3 spacious gîtes
(apartments) of the highest standards. A private swimming pool
provides views of vineyards and the
Pyrenees
Mountains.
The quality
of furnishings and fittings is of the highest standard thus
providing you with every comfort for your stay with us.
The property
lies in the middle of vineyards and is situated 1km from the
village of Conques-sur-Orbiel and 10 kms north of
Carcassonne in the Aude region of Languedoc Roussillon. Your
